Ways to Pay

The county/municipal tax bills:

• March 1 tax bills are received
• April 30th ends the discount period. 2% discount is given if post marked by April 30.  

Metered mail is not an acceptable postmark   

• June 30th ends the face period of the bill. Payments must be postmarked by June 30th.

• After June 30th to December 15th is the penalty phase of the bill.

• Payments after December 15th to December 31st must be paid with an official bank check or certified funds. Payments must be postmarked by December 31st.

For a returned receipt, please mail a self addressed, stamped envelope along with your check.  Please include your parcel number on your check.  Checks will be processed upon receipt.  Postdated checks will not be held.  

Returned checks are not considered timely payment.

You can pay by echeck for a cost of $1.50 or credit card for a cost of 2.65% or $3.00 minimum.

Any payments after December 15, 2026, need to be paid with a cashier check or a bank check, no credit cards are accepted.
